Our biggest event of the year is now our most anticipated as we celebrate The Samaritan Inn's 25th anniversary.  Founded in 1984, The Samaritan Inn has grown from twenty cots to one hundred and twenty beds. With the recent addition of the Gateway Apartments, The Samaritan Inn is a successful statewide model soon to be recognized nationally!

Please "Save The Date" and join us for an exciting celebration including a raffle to win one of three vehicles provided by
Eldorado Motors; a Mazda Miata or a Chevy Silverado Extended Cab Pickup or a Four Door Jeep Wrangler.  The winner of this fantastic prize will be drawn and announced on gala night. Raffle tickets are $100 each or you may purchase five tickets for $500 and get an additional ticket for free.  There is no individual purchase limit; actual ticket sales are limited to 1000 so purchase your tickets soon!

November is Natonal Homelessness Awareness month and this year we are preparing for a fantastic Open House presentation.  We will extend an invitation to anyone interested in coming to see and learn more about The Samaritan Inn and it's programs.

Annual Mckinney Historical Run 2009
August 8, 2009
on the Historical Downtown McKinney Square

The McKinney Historical Run 2008 was held last year with 216 finishers (pictures); this year's goal is 400.  This is a 5K and 1mile Fun Run on the Historic Downtown McKinney Square.
